Inside the quiet village of Drifters you can take a swim in our fenced pool and share in a family BBQ atmosphere at any time.  If you want to wander, both The Tweed River and Kingscliff's beaches are two of the best free attractions on the East Coast of Australia.  The River is a major locale for all forms of water sports, boating and fishing on its protected waterways with a public boat ramp at the end of Waugh Street about 700m from Drifters.  Fishermen can be seen under the Chinderah bypass bridge. The Rock Walls of the River and even up at the sand pumping jetty on the change of tide. If you love the beach then Cudgen River Beach, Fingal Beach and Tweed River South Beach are beautiful on an incoming tide and sheltered from any wind. Drifters is close to the shopping centres of The Tweed and Kingscliff itself has risen to take its own place in the limelight.  The town is dotted with alfresco cafes, pubs and restaurants and major attractions like Salt Village, Cabarita and Tropical Fruit World are a short drive away on the Tweed Coast.  Further north are the major Theme Parks of the Gold Coast catering for every possible thrill ride and marine animal attraction.  Ask us to book your Theme Park tickets for you.
